Babovka (Cake)
2 cups flour (I used 1 cup GF all-purpose flour and 1 cup almond flour)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
4 eggs, whisked
1/2 cup sugar (coconut sugar)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup milk (cashew milk)
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Spray a 9-inch round cake pan with baking spray with flour.
- Combine flour, and baking soda in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, coconut sugar, vanilla, oil, and milk (using a hand mixer).
- Combine wet ingredients with dry.
- Pour the batter into a greased pan.
- Bake until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 45 minutes.
