Tom's Chocolate Cake

Cake:

1/2 cup raw cacao powder

1 1/2 cup almond flour

1 pinch of Celtic sea salt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

4 eggs, whisked

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup coconut sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup ghee or butter or coconut oil, melted

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

- Combine cacao powder, almond flour, salt, and baking soda in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine eggs, maple syrup, coconut sugar, vanilla, and ghee.
- Combine wet ingredients with dry ones.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch pie pan. 
- Bake for 20 minutes.

- Let the cake cool down before putting the frosting on top.

Frosting:

1 cup Hu gems chocolate chips

1 cup canned full-fat coconut milk

1 pinch of Celtic salt

In a small pot melt chocolate chips and coconut milk over low heat, stirring often.

Add salt and stir well. Pour the mixture into a bowl and let it cool for 1 1/2 hours in the fridge. Use a hand mixer to whip the frosting until it is fluffy.

Spread the frosting over the cake.
