Nina's Cinnamon Apples
8 apples, cored and diced
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch of sea salt (optional)
Place apples and water into a crockpot. Sprinkle with cinnamon and salt, and stir well.
Cover and cook for 3 hours on high, or 6 hours on low, stirring occasionally.
Tips:
Serve with 1 teaspoon of ghee per serving or coconut whipped cream.
